Lake Lanier Happenings - Labor Day 2014

Labor Day weekend holds in store loads of fun this weekend on Lake Lanier with beautiful sunny weather in the forecast for days and fireworks at night.

Here are some fireworks photos we shot at a recent fireworks display at Laurel Park over Lake Lanier. Especially pretty are the lights from all the boats on the water gathered to watch.

Lake Lanier Islands will hosts activities for the whole family including LanierWorld, daily live entertainment and fireworks Sunday night.  For more info, visit Labor Day at Lake Lanier Islands.

If you prefer the more leisurely pace of north Lake Lanier, you don't want to miss Laurel Summer Fest at Laurel Park on Saturday and Sunday.  Enjoy a concert by Riverstreet, arts and craft vendors, helicopter rides,and a barbecue competition among other fun activities plus fireworks on Sunday night.
