Where Independence Day Fireworks Are - 2016

Fireworks at Hall County's Laurel Park
It has become a tradition that I post on where the fireworks shows are for July 4th Independence Day Celebrations in North Georgia and around Lake Lanier. And yes, I always miss a few.  So, I'll ask a favor of you, my dear reader:   If you know of one that you think should be included, just comment at the bottom.  And I'll update the post to include it.

How did fireworks become our favorite 4th of July pastime?  Because John Adams wanted us to.

Here you go, in no particular order:

Saturday, July 2:  Hall County's Show is at Laurel Park at 3100 Old Cleveland Hwy, Gainesville GA.  Gates open at 10 a.m. Enjoy the sports facilities, playground, splash pad, dog park and views of Lake Lanier. Live music will be provided throughout the afternoon, featuring performances by local artists Jonathan Jackson and The Wheelcats. A spectacular fireworks display, provided by Hall County Government, begins at dusk. Parking is $10 per car. Vendors include Kona Ice, Snowie, Brusters, Sweet Butts BBQ, Bucket O'Shrimp, North Georgia Boy Scouts and The Peanut Guy. Other activities include bounce houses, airbrush tattoos and crazy hair.  Beautiful show to enjoy from your boat on Lake Lanier.

  1. Such an amazing share about the Independence Day fireworks. Keep sharing such details here. We too had an awesome time in the fireworks and food event on this day. There was a huge event at the venue NYC and we had bought the passes two months advance. Enjoyed thoroughly over there.
